The LLC converter consists of four modules: a power switching network (half bridge or full lattice bridge), a resonant capacitor (C), a resonant inductor (L), a transformer excitation inductor (L), a transformer and a diode rectifier.
The MOSFET power switch first converts the input DC voltage into high-frequency square wave. Then the square wave enters the resonator, by which the harmonic of the square wave is eliminated and the sine wave of the fundamental frequency is output. Then the sine wave is transmitted to the secondary side of the converter through the high-frequency transformer, and the voltage is boosted or reduced according to the application demand; Finally, a diode rectifier converts the sine wave into a stable DC output.
LLC, as a typical harmonic converter, is a harmonic circuit that realizes constant output voltage by controlling the switching frequency (frequency regulation).
